26/11 is just a date ....its only February now !

26/11 is just a date ....its only February now! this is the attitude we Indians have be it the media , journalist, politicians,judiciary,you me everybody so lets not point fingers at each other .Patience is running out and yet the victims of the tragedy are helpless......helpless in the face of government apathy ,helpless that India wants to "show" the world that a just civil society we have where a terrorist with no remorse has to be given a chance of fair trail and in turn India will gain some points on the human rights index!

This news set me thinking what are we Indians made of.........the enemy across the border sneaked in and killed innocent people......and we did nothing...... ya I forgot we did make all the right noises took part in protest rallies, had discussions on innumerable tv channels ,made some politicians resign who eventually in the course of time came back to power but after that we have all crawled back to the comfort of our shells. Yet this very Indian is ready to kill and get killed in the name of religion, separate statehood,quota as and when manipulated by their leaders.So it shows that Indians can be worked up into a frenzy what it needs is the right path.

Such 26/11 s will happen again in the future and we all know its just a matter of time.The enemy is looking for the right opportunity to strike.So what is that we can do ,our action should be three pronged-Let the media mobilize public opinion and the process should move on a day to day basis for a speedy conclusion to Kasab trail as they did in Jessica Lal case because justice delayed is justice denied,this would bring some amount of closure to the families of the victims .Secondly include a clause in the law where in a war-like-situation is clearly and precisely described and any perpetrators caught alive to be hanged till death without trail within three months. A nuclear enabled neighbour is the biggest deterrent for going in for a full scale attack but as the enemy is bringing in' non state actors' to cause mayhem why not a tit for tat ploy and i am sure in a country of more than a billion enough such soilders will be ready to go in for the " hunt and kill".This three pronged strategy will remind the enemy to NEVER MESS WITH A INDIAN and give us dates like 26/11.
